How we handle your audio

Audio recordings stay on your device unless you choose to sync them. Soniox never uses your audio to train AI.

Data residency

When you create your organization, you choose a region. Transcription data and all processing (refinement, AI actions, etc.) stay in that region. You cannot change it later, and we cannot move it to another region.

Account data, project metadata, usage stats, and billing may be processed outside the selected region.
